In the footsteps of Van Gogh
9:00 – 17:00
139 € per person
This tour follows almost the same route as our classic Arles, les Baux & Saint-Rémy itinerary — but with a different spirit. It is slower, more contemplative, and entirely focused on the life and work of Vincent van Gogh during his most intense months in Provence. Rather than trying to see everything, we take time to understand: the places he lived in, the landscapes he painted, and how the light and atmosphere of Provence shaped his art and inner life. This tour deliberately does not include Les Baux-de-Provence, in order to preserve the artistic coherence and calm rhythm of the experience.
Arles
Key locations linked to Van Gogh’s stay in the city (Place du Forum and the setting of Café Terrace at Night, The courtyard of the Espace Van Gogh, The roman Arena, the public garden, the Rhone river, the setting of The Yellow House…). Stories of his artistic ambitions, friendships, and creative intensity. Free time for a coffee, a relaxed stroll or visiting Roman monuments
Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
Visit to Saint-Paul-de-Mausole, where Van Gogh admitted himself. Walk through the monastery gardens and surrounding landscapes that inspired Irises, Olive Trees and The Starry Night with your guide. Free time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Saint-Rémy village, slightly more lively on Wednesdays during its weekly Provençal market.
